Provide opportunities, support independent-learning and help save lives!
Dear ESF Friends, Community Partners, Family and Supporters!
Explorers Sans Frontières (ESF) is responding to the catastrophe in Haiti and that we are extremely distraught, personally and as an organization. Most of us have spent time trying to figure out how to travel to Haiti on such short notice but we are working on creating a team of professionals that are experienced, may also speak French/Creole (but not required) and also have a strong desire to serve in a disaster relief area.
We need Nurses, Doctors, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacist, Tech/EMT, OT/PT, Mental Health Professionals, and similar so please advise ASAP! We are looking for volunteers of all disciplines for local and future relief work in Haiti!
In order to make this happen, we need financial support and donations of supplies. You can make a tax deductible donation to ESF using the DONATE NOW button bellow. If a team is not created for the 1st trip, we are working with the Elise Joseph Foundation, the Haitian Coalition of Philadelphia (HCP), AMURT, and First Haitian Church of Prophecy to make this work for a future mission or to send much needed supplies to partnering organizations in Haiti.
ESF has a history with the Haitian community and we have supported their local efforts over the past 2 years so this is very personal for all of us. The money exclusively donated for Haiti will be given used to support to the ESF Haitian Mission team, The Haitian Relief Efforts, and to support those going by purchasing much needed supplies and resource material.
Please, if you can, donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you are able to afford at this time because the donation will be used to do so much to help the masses!
The Haitian Relief Effort (HRE) supported by ESF seeks to accomplish the following:
God bless and thank you for all your support!
